Password-It! Publisher Description

New version of Private program shortcut link protection - Adding password protection to a shortcut icon.
Pick a shortcut anywhere in your PC you want to add a password protection.
Follow the instruction and the software will take care of the rest. Program shortcut links security password protection.
This program adds a password prompt to a program shortcut link
so that only the user who knows the password can access the
program via the shortcut.
When user click on the shortcut link to the program, a small box will pop up asking for password. If the password is not correct user cannot open the program. The password protection link can be removed by the administrator as long as he/she remember the password.
Version 3.0 new features:

* Target can be an executable or a folder.
* Works with any shortcut, even window installer shortcut as long as the target component is locally installed.
* Completely hide the target information including the icon source.
* Choice of using the provided icon or keep using the original icon.
* Working / opening directory and command line parameters are preserved.

* Independent password for different program links. Can even have many different password links to a same program.
* The target program executable file will not be affected.
* Good security, user will not be able to see the target program file location.
* Reliable and flexible. Un-installing Password-It will not remove the password links you have set up.
